A woman was worried she had developed ‘the shakes’, until she realised it was not her who was shaking but her house. Earlier this week, Carolyne Miller was relaxing at home in Formby , when she suddenly got the sensation of being on a bouncy castle, and watched as her TV started wobbling on the wall.

The mum-of-three said she felt the house shaking, and looked out of her back window to see several large construction vehicles conducting clearance works for a new development on West Lane.
