Husband and wife unveil £450,000 plans for new site

A Liverpool couple have unveiled their plans to open a new £450,000 venue in early 2026. Husband-and-wife team Christopher and Hayley Commerford, from West Derby , are the brains behind Parliament Square Coffee.

The brand first launched on the street of the same name in the Baltic Triangle in June 2023. Since then, it has developed what the couple call a “loyal community of coffee lovers” across the North West. Christopher, 44, spent many years working as a chef in hospitality before spotting an opportunity in the Parliament Square development to bring his concept to life.
