Aldi has recalled a Christmas chocolate snack due to a "possible health risk" from incorrect labelling.

The supermarket giant urged anyone who has purchased its Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks to return them for a full refund.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said this was because "it may contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label", making it "a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts".

Affected products have a packet size of 90g and a batch code of 4061463276865.

Customers can return the chocolates to their nearest Aldi store, regardless of their best-before date, for a full refund. You do not need a receipt to do this.
