A devoted daughter is raising awareness in memory of her “beautiful” step-mum, who died after suddenly suffering from pancreatitis on a family holiday.
Paula Bowsher, from Maidstone, was “full of life and excitement” when she set off to Cyprus in July 2024.
However, what began as an enjoyable trip ended in heartbreak when she tragically died aged 49 after developing crippling stomach pains.
Remembering her loved-one, Harleigh Stephens said: “Paula was more than just a step-mum.
“She was a beautiful, loving and vibrant woman who radiated warmth to everyone around her.
"Pancreatitis can bring devastation to the people it impacts and their loved ones. I hope her legacy drives change, so that others may have better chances and more options in the future."
