STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 61-year-old man accused of terrorizing a woman on the Staten Island Railway has again been found mentally unfit to face the charges, court records indicate.
Luis Marrero, of Central Avenue in St. George, is facing charges that include second-degree robbery and public lewdness in connection with the June 3, 2024, incident.
During a Nov. 14 hearing, Justice Alexander B. Jeong continued the defendant’s remand status at a mental health facility, based in part on progress reports from licensed experts at the facility.
Jeong adjourned the case to November 2026.
