Scotland could face World Cup holders Argentina in March in a friendly, according to reports in the South American country.

Steve Clarke 's side sparked off scenes of celebration this month after beating Denmark at home to reach their first World Cup since 1998.

The Scots will play two friendlies in the next international date in March in what will be important preparation for the North American tournament next summer.

Argentina will play Spain in March in the Finalissima - the match between the winners of previous South American and European championships in Qatar.
