A popular Aldi Christmas snack has been recalled by Aldi over possible "health risks".
The budget supermarket has urged anyone who purchased the Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks to return them to store as they may contain peanuts which are not declared on the label.
The Food Standards Agency warned this means the product poses a possible health risk for anyone with a peanut allergy.

Aldi was advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will see members told about the recall.
The supermarket has also issued a point-of-sale notice to customers, relating to the 90g Filled Gonks with any best before date and a batch code of 406146327686
