Festive fun is set to sparkle once again in a Darlington village this weekend as Cockerton gears up for its annual Christmas light switch on.
The Cockerton Community and Business Group is bringing the magic back this Sunday (November 30), and from 12pm to 4.30pm the whole village will burst into life with festive cheer.
Santa himself will be arriving with his reindeer in tow, outside Cockerton Shops, ready to greet excited families and kickstart the celebrations.
The fun doesn't stop there. A jampacked afternoon of entertainment awaits, including a performance from Darlington singer-songwriter Jenna Louise, who promises to "fill Cockerton with festive magic" with a mix of covers and her original songs.
