DULUTH — It’s always easy to throw around words like “best ever” or “this will never happen again” and that would be a bold statement about this year’s News Tribune All-Area Girls Soccer team, considering the athletes selected in the previous four seasons alone.
Still this was among the most competitive selection processes over that time — just look at who was left off the list.
Anna Stellmaker, Kayleigh Wilmot and Julia Davis were all key contributors for repeat Section 7AAA champions Duluth East and Cloquet/Carlton’s Tenique Moose was the Lumberjacks’ “best most consistent player,” according to coach Dustin Randall, but they just missed inclusion on the 2025 team.
