LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - After a brutally cold Black Friday - wintry weather continues into our holiday weekend.
Temperatures only manage to get into the mid 30s for many today, with some friends farther south and east reaching the low 40s. Cloud cover builds throughout the day ahead of some action in the evening.
A fast-moving system of rain and snow slides across Kentucky into tonight. The system will put down some snow in northern portions of the state, and cold rains in southern portions of the state.
Sunday turns sharply colder as northwest winds crank up, driving daytime readings into the upper 20s and low 30s with wind chills in the teens. A few flurries are possible, mainly north and east of Lexington, but they should stay light with little to no accumulation while the day simply
