A North West railway station is cordoned off by police this morning following the 'sudden death' of a person.
Emergency services were called to Preston Railway Station at around 1am this morning (Saturday). Police and paramedics responded over reports of a sudden death of a person, Lancs Live reports.
No further details have been disclosed at this stage. The main entrance and Butler Street entrance at the station remain taped off this morning.
Investigation work is ongoing, with a heavy police presence on the scene. There are currently no major train delays being reported by National Rail at the station.
Lancs Live has contacted British Transport Police for comment.
