Sunseekers will be able to fly to a range of destinations from Teesside Airport from summer 2026, with extra flights and routes being announced in the last few weeks.

The airport recently announced Mavi Gok Airlines (MGA) will fly from Teesside to Antalya, Turkey, every Wednesday .

The Turkish airline said the weekly service will run from now until October 28, departing for Antalya at 3.30pm.

Phil Forster, the airport's managing director, said: "This is 2brilliant news for local people who want more choice, more sunshine, and more convenience when they fly.

"Antalya is a fantastic destination for families, couples and adventure-seekers, and we’re thrilled MGA Airlines has chosen Teesside as their only UK base outside of London."
