Norris is leading the Drivers' Championship and could clinch his first world title with a win in Qatar this weekend

Lando Norris could dramatically follow in Nico Rosberg's footsteps and walk away from Formula 1 if he claims the world championship crown this weekend. The McLaren ace currently sits on 390 points in the Drivers' Championship and has the chance to secure his maiden world title with victory at Sunday's Qatar Grand Prix .

The path would have been smoother for the British driver had he and team-mate Oscar Piastri not been disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix for a technical breach.
