BEMIDJI — Megan Klein was looking to expand her business, but she couldn’t find the ideal location in Bemidji. So she improvised, asking herself, “What if I built out a shed and put it at our house?”
Thus, the Shed on Sullivan was conceived.
Klein welcomed shoppers to her shed this fall on her property at the corner of Eckles Road and Sullivan Drive NW, about 9 miles northwest of downtown Bemidji. The Shed on Sullivan also houses B.Linked Permanent Jewelry, a business Klein has been running for nearly three years as a pop-up.
“I needed somewhere to do appointments and private parties,” Klein said. “But I could only do pop-ups. I thought, 'If I have a shed, people can just come to the house. And then why not just make it a place where everyone can shop?'”
