KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Nov. 29, 1988, an explosion at a Kansas City, Kansas, construction site kills six firefighters. The cause was later determined to be arson, and five suspects were sentenced to life in prison nearly ten years later, in 1997.
