ARLINGTON – For as much pressure as the Prosper football team tried to apply throughout Friday’s Class 6A Division II regional semifinal, Southlake Carroll was all but inevitable.

If there was a play to be made on either side of the ball, the Dragons did their part to quash the Eagles from ever taking hold of a late Friday playoff tilt that trickled well into Saturday from Choctaw Stadium – all culminating in a 49-31 victory for Carroll to halt the Prosper’s 2025 campaign in the third round of the postseason.
