It might not even technically be winter yet, but it’s still not too early to get a jump start on your summer shore plans, with more than a dozen Jersey Shore towns running special holiday beach badge sales just in time for the big shopping season.

The badges are usually sold at a discount, typically ranging between $5 and $10 off the regular season price, and a number of towns have fun, hand-drawn Christmas-themed designs.

Sale dates and ordering methods vary by town, so make sure to double check how to purchase before heading out. Some towns end their holiday tag sales as early as Dec. 17, so don’t wait to order.
