Bob Mortimer’s Gone Fishing co-star Paul Whitehouse called him an “idiot” in a cheeky message sent into this week’s edition of Saturday Kitchen.

On today’s show (Saturday, 29th November), presenter Matt Tebbutt hosted the beloved comedian and writer along with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

While fans of the BBC cooking show were delighted to see Bob back in the kitchen, his choice of food hell proved controversial.

Choosing a classic steak and kidney pie with double peas for his food heaven, his confession that he is not a big fan of Italian food sparked some backlash in the studio.
