TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says a suspect is dead after a deputy-involved shooting late Friday night, November 30.
The PCSD says deputies responded to a a report of a possible shooting late Friday night in the 400 block of South Stone Bench Road.
Deputies determined call involved a domestic violence situation and were told a 47-year-old man had fired at least one round outside in a residential neighborhood.
Deputies located the man on foot nearby.
The PCSD says as a deputy made contact, the armed subject began walking toward the deputy. The deputy gave repeated commands for him to stop. The subject did not comply and produced a firearm and that’s when the deputy then fired his department-issued firearm and hit him.
The suspect died a short time late
