BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Happy Saturday everyone. Today will be the quieter of the weekend days, but it will still be cooler and breezy. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. A few spot snow showers can’t be ruled out in the Western Mountains. High temps will vary from the mid 20s to upper 30s. WNW winds will be sustained from 10-20 mph with gusts peaking up to 30 mph. Subsequently, a Gale Warning has been issued on the coast and wind chill values (feels like temps) will only reach the 10s and 20s.
Tonight, low temps will vary from the mid 10s to mid 20s. Skies will start mostly clear, but by midnight, clouds will enter and fill in across Maine with the next low-pressure system knocking on the door. WNW to SE gusts will be pretty calm by Sunday morning, only reaching 15-20 mph.
