D.A.W.G-on-it! – Guided Dog Hike: 1-2 p.m. Nov. 29, Jay Cooke State Park. Meet in front of the River Inn Visitor Center. Participants will learn how to be a good D.A.W.G. Don’t leave behind waste. Introduction to Beginning Fly Tying: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 and 11, and Jan. 8 and 15, Hermantown Community Learning Center. Instructor: Bill Nygaard. This class helps you master the art of tying your own trout flies while becoming proficient with the essential tools and techniques.
