PHOENIX — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Police Department said the pedestrian was hit near 35th and Grand avenues just after 5 a.m.

Police said fire crews pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Investigators are working to identify the driver and vehicle involved.
