A Shetland star has revealed that he "probably scarred" his TV colleague for life during an incident in the '90s, as he opened up about the future of the BBC show. Speaking in a recent interview, Lewis Howden, who plays Sgt Billy McCabe in the popular mystery series, has shared a revelation about a fellow Shetland star, whom, as a result of the amusing incident, he described as a "poor woman". ‌

Lewis returned this month for the 10th series of Shetland , eponymously named after the remote Scottish archipelago, alongside other such familiar names as Alison O'Donnell (who plays Alison 'Tosh' McIntosh) and Steven Robertson (Sandy Wilson). ‌
