In his seven seasons with Ohio State football , Ryan Day has won as many national championships as games against Michigan .
While he has shown an ability to win the game, Day has had a much more difficult time winning "The Game" — a blight on his coaching resume that not even a national title can completely erase, and one that holds significant weight given the importance the rivalry has for both programs' fan bases.
"We know what's at stake. We've felt what it's like to not win this game and it's bad. It's one of the worst things that's happened to me in my life, quite honestly," Day said in a TV interview ahead of last year's game down in Columbus.
Day took his fourth loss against Michigan last season when the Wolverines beat the second-ranked Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium af
