NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Travelers at the Nashville International Airport may face some delays due to a ground delay issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
According to the FAA, there is an average delay of 37 minutes. The delay was issued just before 8:30 a.m. and the FAA said it was supposed to last until about 2 p.m.
BNA recently said the delay was lifted and that the issue was due to a shortage of air traffic controllers.
BNA reminded travelers to check their flight status before arriving to the airport.
