A protest in Manchester city centre this afternoon has seen 28 people arrested under the Terrorism Act.
This afternoon, pro-Palestine protesters gathered at St Peter's Square holding pro-Palestine signs with some appearing to show support for the banned group Palestine Action.
Palestine Action was listed as a proscribed terrorist organisation by the UK Government earlier this year after causing millions of pounds worth of damage to defence companies.
There was also an incident in June where the group were involved in a demonstration which saw two military aircraft damaged at RAF Brize Norton.
Palestine Action claimed the incident, claiming it was a protest against the UK's weapons sales to Israel.
