WALDO, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies say 31-year-old Richard Holder was arrested Friday after a dispute with his 65-year-old stepfather, who is disabled.

Holder told the victim to leave the home they live in together as a family after the two got into a heated argument.

Deputies say the victim refused, prompting Holder to place him in a modified full-nelson.

The victim was able to get free from the hold before Holder punched him in the face, causing him to fall back into the wall and subsequently the floor.

The victim then left the house and Holder contacted law enforcement, according to deputies.

When deputies arrived, they found the elderly man with redness on his left ear as a result of the scuffle.

Holder admitted to punching and grabbing the man.
