The fall season ended with back-to-back wins for Jefferson’s football team.

No, the wins didn’t come on the field. The Bears bowed out of the state tournament with a loss in the state semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 22.

The wins came in the Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week poll.

Caleb Henry won for Nov. 17-23, following a victory by teammate Drake Jones the week before.

Henry garnered 16,311 votes to nearly double the 8,888 drawn by Flat Rock volleyball player Sarah Giroux.

This week’s poll will honor the weekly winners for the fall.
