An elevated threat of sneaker waves continued Saturday on the Oregon coast, the combination of seasonal king tides and unusually rough weather. Sneaker waves can run higher on the beach than normal, knocking people off their footing or lifting heavy logs that can trap or crush people.
Sunday is expected to bring more of the same dry and partly cloudy conditions for western Oregon, but with a cooler turn.
