Artificial intelligence is increasingly woven into nearly every aspect of healthcare, from clinical practice to hospital logistics. According to Arizona State University’s Eugene Schneller , that growing influence is forcing both technology and medicine to adapt.

“AI is challenging healthcare, and healthcare is challenging AI,” said Schneller, a professor of supply chain management at ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business and co-organizer of the Arizona Business and Health Summit 2025 . “We’re at the very beginning of understanding where AI impacts healthcare.
