Quaint husband and wife-owned pub were 'regulars are like family'

As days become shorter and the mercury starts to plummet, The Little Taproom on Aigburth Road comes into its element. While the city centre boasts an array of traditional old pubs, the small husband and wife-run pub provides something almost entirely unique.

Opening their doors in 2020, Si Perreau, 49, had been dreaming of running his own pub for some time after spending much of his career working at a number of other boozers across the city. He told the ECHO : "Throughout my career of doing all sorts, I'd always worked in pubs, usually on a part-time basis, and then I got into pub management."
