GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities are asking for the community’s help in identifying a man accused of firing a gun at a car in the West Valley last week.
On the morning of Nov. 16, first responders were dispatched near Litchfield Road and Indian School Road , on Clarendon Avenue , for reports of an aggravated assault.
A man walked up to a person’s vehicle, and as the victim drove away, he reportedly fired a single shot at them, according to the Goodyear Police Department. Police say he then ran away and was last seen south in a nearby wash toward Weldon Avenue.
The suspect is described as 35 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 170 pounds. Police released an AI-generated image of what they believe the man looks like.
