ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. (First Alert 4) - A man is facing eight counts after a double shooting in Cahokia Heights, Illinois, that injured a woman and left a man dead.
Jerome Curry, 39, has been charged with two counts of murder or intent to kill or injure, two counts of aggravated battery, one count of aggravated discharge of a firearm and three counts of possessing a weapon as a felon. These charges come in connection with a double shooting that injured Roshanda McClinton and killed Terrence Curry.
According to the Cahokia Heights Police Department, on Wednesday, just before 7 p.m., police were called to the 4900 block of Piggot Avenue for reports of shots fired and a person with a gun.
Upon arrival, police found three different crime scenes.
