Supplemental Security Income recipients in California are set to receive two more payments this year, or three if they also receive Social Security.

SSI, which the Social Security Administration manages, provides monthly funds to qualifying people whose income and resources (such as vehicles or money in their bank accounts) are limited, according to the SSA .

SSI recipients will get their December and January payments in the same month just a few weeks apart. It’s due to how the payments are scheduled, and receiving two payments in one month has occurred throughout this year — and it’ll occur again in 2026.
