OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - As we approach the noon hour, light snow will continue for only a few more hours in the metro. The snow is moving quickly from west to east. The snow looks to end by 1-2 PM for the metro while western Iowa will continue to see the light snow through mid afternoon.

The metro could see up to an additional inch of snow while western Iowa could see up to 2″ of additional snow. Areas west of the metro are near done seeing snowfall.

Snowfall totals look to be on the lower end of the categories with the metro likely seeing 4-5″ while western Iowa could see up to 8″. Communities west of the metro may even see slightly less.
