Kelly Ripa is opening up about her previously announced All My Children reboot series.

Back in 2020, it was announced that the 55-year-old daytime talk show host and husband Mark Consuelos were working on a primetime spinoff series titled Pine Valley .

Now five years later, Kelly is sharing an update on the series.

“We’ve been working on it for so long,” Kelly shared on the Soapy podcast . “It’s really out of our hands… It’s like one of those things where you get something off the ground, and then oh there’s corporate restructuring, there’s new management, and then the project falls down, and then there’s like renewed interest, and then, oh, the person championing this was let go, and you’re like ‘Oh no.’”
