On Saturday, Nov. 29, the LSU Tigers or Ole Miss Rebels are expected to learn if Lane Kiffin will be their head coach for the 2026 season.
The Florida Gators were in the running earlier in the process, but Kiffin is reportedly now down to his current school or leaving for Baton Rouge. After winning the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State on Friday, Kiffin announced his plans to reveal his decision today when he said, "I feel like I've got to," in response to a question about his decision coming on Nov. 29.
"There's a lot [that goes] into it," Kiffin said. "It's a hard decision. You guys have them all the time. You've got to make decisions about jobs you take and where you move, and we get paid a lot, so I understand we're under a lot of spotlight and scrutiny."
