24-Year-Old ID'd As Man Killed In Norwalk Cemetery Crash

Authorities have identified the driver who was killed after crashing into a wall of a Connecticut cemetery. 

Anthony Martinez, 24, was found inside a wrecked car just after 2 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the East Norwalk Historical Cemetery at East Avenue and Van Zant Street in Norwalk, police said. 

He had slammed into the stone wall of the cemetery, Norwalk police said. 

Norwalk firefighters had to cut him from the vehicle so paramedics could rush him to Norwalk Hospital, where he died of his injuries. 

The crash remains under investigation.
