TUCSON, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Tucson on Saturday morning.
At about 1 a.m., a Tucson police officer stopped a vehicle in the area of 22nd Street and Craycroft Road for an unspecified traffic violation, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The driver reportedly refused to stop and pulled into an apartment complex a short distance away before the officer fired his gun. Police did not release any other details as to what led up to the officer shooting at the vehicle.
Police say no residents or the officer sustained any injuries, but did not specify if a person was shot or taken into custody.
The Pima Regional Critical Incident Team, led by the PCSD, will investigate the shooting. Tucson police will conduct a separate investig
