A man who was struck and killed by four cars on Interstate 95 in Stamford earlier this month has been identified, state police said .
Jose Daniel Martinez-Perez, 34, of Stamford, was identified as the pedestrian who was killed on the highway in Stamford on Nov. 19.
Martinez-Perez was fatally struck by four vehicles on Interstate 95, three of which fled the scene.
Troopers responded to the area of I-95 North in Stamford just before 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 19, for a fatal motor vehicle collision, according to the Connecticut State Police .
A preliminary investigation determined that, for an unknown reason, Martinez-Perez was walking in the right travel lane of I-95 North by before Exit 6 when he was struck by a vehicle and thrown to the left
