PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in west Phoenix early Saturday morning.

Just after 5 a.m., first responders were dispatched to the area of 35th Avenue and Grand Avenue on reports of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.

When officers arrived, they found a man who was seriously hurt, according to the Phoenix Police Department. He died on scene.

Authorities have not released any details about the involved vehicles or other specifics of what happened, citing an open investigation. More information is expected to be released Saturday afternoon.
