A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 12:53 p.m. valid for Sunday between 1 a.m. and 10 p.m. for Chautauqua County.
The weather service says to anticipate, "Southeast downslope winds early, shifting to the southwest. Winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."
"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," explains the weather service. "Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects."
