Jeremy Clarkson has broken his silence after Rachel Reeves announced her Autumn Budget this week. Though the Chancellor eased inheritance tax on agricultural property after mounting protests from farmers, the Clarkson’s Farm star is still feeling the pinch from increasing taxes across the board, as he took to social media with a brutal jab.

Jeremy, 65, posed for a photo in the contestant’s chair on set of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire , which he hosts. He joked: “Farming has been so unprofitable, I’m thinking of sitting in this chair when we record Millionaire tonight.” He was quickly supported by fans, one of whom commented: “Don’t give it up! We love Clarkson’s Farm and you’re doing a great job.”
