PHOENIX — A man was killed in an overnight shooting in north Phoenix, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting happened on Saturday, just before 2 a.m. near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

Police said officers responded to reports of an injured man and found the victim, who had been shot multiple times. Fire crews pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The man's name has not been released.

Police are looking for the suspect.
