Regulars at a much loved pub described as a 'proper quality boozer' have been welcomed back through its doors, after it re-opened following a reported £205,000 transformation. And with a new look and a new team at the helm, a new chapter has now begun for the popular venue.
Pubs and bars all over the region have temporarily shut down this year, to allow for transformations to take place. Places to get a makeover over the last few months include The Hunting Lodge in Whitley Bay, The Beehive at Earsdon The Long Ship in Hebburn and, most recently, Red House Farm, which relaunched on Friday.
