The GHSA state football quarterfinals are in the books and there are two Savannah teams that advanced to the state semifinals.

Benedictine rolled to a win over visiting Central-Carrollton Friday night at Memorial Stadium and the Cadets will host Marist in a Class 4A semifinal on Friday, Dec. 5 at the same venue.

Calvary Day also had a dominating win over visiting Whitefield Academy as the Cavs punched their ticket to the Class A-3A semis. Calvary will be on the road to face Fellowship Christian next week.
