OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The winter weather is leaving its mark on the Omaha metro this weekend.

Snow was expected to continue falling into the afternoon and has already made travel difficult .

Much of the metro is looking to have snow totals on the lower end of the forecasted range, gettting about 4-5 inches — but some in western Iowa could see a few inches more than that. Winds are expected to come in behind the snow, making for a very chilly Sunday.

Delays & cancellations

The winter weather impacted planned events in the area, with the City of Omaha pushing back its holiday lights celebration in advance of the weather.
