FORT WORTH, Texas — A man who allegedly posted a video on TikTok indicating he was building a bomb to target the Fort Worth area has been arrested, according to a Department of Homeland Security official.
Mohammad Alokozay was booked into the Tarrant County Jail Nov. 25 on a charge of making terroristic threats, jail records show.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a post on X that Alokozay is an Afghan national who entered the U.S. as part of Operation Allies Welcome under the Biden administration. The effort, started in 2021, sought to resettle Afghan refugees amid the U.S. military withdrawal from the country that year. She also said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had lodged a detainer on Alokozay after his arrest.
