Everything we know about the latest arrest linked to the synagogue attack

Police investigating the terrorist attack at Heaton Park synagogue last month made another arrest this week. The 31-year-old man was detained at Manchester Airport on suspicion of commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism.

Counter terror police swooped the suspect arriving on an inbound flight at the airport on Thursday (November 27). He remains in custody for questioning.

On Saturday (November 29) the force said it has secured a warrant of further detention which means that the suspect can be held in custody for up to a week from his arrest. He can now remain in custody for questioning until Thursday, December 4.
