One week after Kaytron Allen broke Evan Royster’s long-standing career rushing yards record at Penn State , his fellow senior positionmate made some of his own history.
Nick Singleton broke Saquon Barkley’s record for career rushing touchdowns by scoring his 44th in the first quarter of Saturday’s 2025 regular-season finale at Rutgers. He also broke Barkley’s mark for career all-purpose touchdowns, which includes receiving and kick return scores. The score was Singleton’s 54th total touchdown.
Barkley’s previous marks of 43 and 53, respectively, had stood in Happy Valley since 2017.
The record-breaking score for Singleton, which put Penn State ahead 14-7, came on an 11-yard rush. Singleton lined up as a fullback on third-and-short and burst through a wide gap in the left side of the
